How do i extend my social network?

my whole social network is my school which is literally about 40 people and i can't seem to fit inwith any of them cuz

1. most of them are big time druggies/alcoholics

2. have their own cliques im not part of

3. they're my older sister's friends (alot of them) and she made it clear we can't have the same friends

4. i don't click with them

don't get me wrong they are not maean but i need some friends is there anyway i can expand it?

no my parents don't have enough money for camps or anything like that or programs but i'm getting depressed cuz i can't seem to find anyone to be friends with

lately i've been going to church youth groups and i've found some wonderful caring friends there and it has made me confident enough to walk into school with a different attitude and that attitude has attracted friends to me instead of that other way around. school is tough when it comes to cliques but if you are confident enough to be yourself and excel in your studies, it will come. Don't force it.

i spent a lot of time in my guidance counsellor's office saying i wanted to quit school for this reason but i am so glad that he helped me graduate.

don't give up. what about the other people that don't seem to have friends? that's who i ended up spending a lot of time with.
